Most churches are committed to families. At Christ Church, we like to think that we have taken that focus a step further.
At a meeting of the entire congregation, a consensus was reached that we would intentionally focus on supporting the spiritual lives of children and families with children.
Every event at Christ Church incorporates children, and they are important members of the worship life of the parish. We don't think of this as JUST being nice and welcoming (although many visitors say that we are!) but as a way of fostering and supporting young Christians.
At the bottom of it all is a commitment to discipling -- helping to shape and support people in their quest to follow Jesus Christ.
